I bought this for my 8-year old granddaughters to put together during quiet time. They completed the edges, the animals and the quilts. It was just challenging enough to be exciting, but not so hard as to make it no longer fun. However, their mother and I had to help filling in the backgrounds, which were so challenging that even with only a handful of pieces left to place it was not clear where they would go. This was much more difficult than I expected for a 500-piece puzzle. I highly recommend it for adults and children 8+ working together. It is a great piece of family entertainment.

This was a very relaxing puzzle to put together. It is also a serene and colorful scene.
