First and foremost - Ravensburger puzzles are great quality.
This particular puzzle was a blast to build. It wasn't super difficult, therefore I would recommend it for the beginner to intermediate builder. Like all Ravensburger puzzles I've built, all of the pieces were in the box, and interlocked smoothly. Overall a great buy.

Holy flarking puzzlenuts, Batman. What a puzzle. Doing this puzzle feels like being wrapped in a warm hug while someone feeds you bacon, gives you a back massage, high fives you and hands you a $100 bill. Quite possibly the most satisfying, entertaining, engaging puzzle since the Da Vinci Code came out. You won't be disappointed. Unless you are trying to buy a marmoset. Then you might be disappointed. But that's the only reason why.

This puzzle was a lot of fun to put together. Lots of printed areas; no big areas of one color...a real pleasure. Plus it's a review of some of the geography of the US!

We just finished this puzzle, and to our extreme disappointment the puzzle is (1) missing a piece (for the Royal Gorge image) and (2) has one extra piece, which is for a portion of the puzzle that we already completed and is cut differently. For all the reviews about Ravensburger puzzles, we are very disappointed and unsure about how to proceed now...

Three days ago, my wife and I finished a White Mountain 1000 piece puzzle and it was missing one piece. This time, the Ravensburger Road Trip USA puzzle had 1000 pieces, but only 999 fit. When we got to the last piece, it did not fit nor did the picture piece match. We're really disappointed in jigsaw puzzles as this is two slightly defective puzzles in a row, from two of the supposedly top manufacturers of jigsaw puzzles. The puzzle was fun to put together until we got to the 1000th piece and it was the wrong one. We very carefully checked the puzzle, and the 999 fit perfectly, so it was NOT our mistake. And no, our dog was never near our puzzle site. Wish there was a way to get this corrected.
