Most frustrating customer service from this companyFeb 01, 2012
By Susan Dlott I thought this was a wonderful line of puzzles (high quality, matte finish) until I got to the end and had two empty spaces and two pieces remaining, neither of which fit. After emailing Buffalo Games and enclosing a photo of the completed 998 pieces with the two faulty pieces alongside AND a photo of the UPC bar, I receiced a reply that I could send in the UPC bar and receive a replacement of the identical puzzle. I wrote back that I had no interest in putting together the exact puzzle after spending a week on it and was told that is their policy. I would have been more than satisfied had they offered a coupon towards a replacement but the more that the rep would not acknowledge that it simply didn't make sense for anyone to put together the exact 998 pieces all over again, the more frustrated I became. She would not budge on their 'policy', even though they had produced and sold a faulty product. I will NOT purchase another product from this company again because of what ought to have been a simple resolution.

Beautiful Painting and a great puzzleNov 01, 2011
By R. Gillis A really great painting to convert into a puzzle. Great to work on despite the smaller size pieces. A soothing image to be staring at for so long and the matte finish really does reduce glare in bright light.

Excellent QualitySep 30, 2011

The cut of these pieces is very high quality. This was a very challenging puzzle due to the way the original art was created. This was a matte finish, not glossy. The colors are well done. Overall, everything was very good. I would buy from this manufacturer in the future.
Challenging puzzle, just "okay" qualityApr 23, 2012

After I placed my order, I kind of regretted that I didn't buy a bigger puzzle (say 1,500 pieces instead of 1,000). However, because this is a pointillism, I'm glad it's only 1K pieces 'cause it's REALLY challenging (in a fun way). My only disappointment is that there are about a dozen or so bent pieces, and many of the pieces don't snap in place as well as other puzzles I've owned. So, in terms of fun, I give it 5 stars; in terms of quality, just 3. That said, if you can get it on sale and don't mind a few bent pieces (which still work, mind you), I recommend buying it.
High quality puzzle, my favorite painting!Dec 28, 2011
By Tutu This is a very high quality puzzle, with very little puzzle dust in the box and concise cut pieces so you can definitely tell whether they fit or not.
It is pretty difficult, but not nearly as hard as Photomosaics with the same number of pieces. The Pointillism painting style is what makes it difficult, and it just happens that some of the rows of cuts lie right on the change of color, so you can't always count on slivers of different color to give a clue.
I'm about 2/3 done after 3 days of 3-4 hours a day working on it. It's a beautiful painting and the puzzle does it justice with the matte finish and bright colors.
Definitely recommended for serious puzzlers and Impressionist Art lovers.
